Only show one ‘Next Action’ per project?

First off, thanks for Tracks, I love it.

I was curious if it was possible to only show the ‘Next’ next action for each project in the context view.

For example, if a project named foo had the following next actions:

Foo:

  Action 1   (context: work)
  Action 2   (context: work)

Then the work context page would only show the first action on the list:

Work:
  Action 1

Is there an easy way to modify the app to do this?  Part of my GTD workflow is dumping out a set of actions to take on a particular project and then going through them one at a time.

Thanks,
-Nick

No, there’s currently no way to do exactly what you want—see discussions here and here.

However, in the trunk you can now ‘star’ actions. This is left as open as possible, so that ‘starring’ an action can mean whatever you want it to mean (do this today, most important, or next action for example). So you could use the star to indicate next actions, and then view those next actions together at http://yourtracks.url/todos/tag/star

Hope that helps.
