I’ve been using Tracks via tracks.tra.in (a free hosted version) for a while.  Now I have my own Tracks (1.043) installation set up and running on my web host. 

The version running at tracks.tra.in has a few hacks to the code base that I’d like to implement in my own installation.  The best of these is that it shows the name of the project rather than the generic link “[P]” when you view next actions list (i.e. the “home” link).  That info already pops up when you hover the “[P]” link, so it should be too hard to get it to show up instead of that link. 

I’ve email Chris at tracks.tra.in for info on the the hack.  But I’m not sure if I’ll hear back and I figure someone else might know how to do it or might be able to point me in the right direction.  I’ve coded quite a bit of PHP, but I’m new to Ruby/ROR.  So I could use some help.

The trunk has this feature implemented controlled as a user preference. The source is browsable if you would like to hack your copy of tracks.

Thanks for your reply.  I decided to try installing a development version to check out this and other new features.  Now have R578 of the 1.50 trunk rolling and it’s really very nice.  I’m enjoying all the new functionality and the new look.  It even runs a little faster than the current stable version.
