Hi,

I cannot seem to get the LDAP authentication to work with tracks. This is my Base DN that works in Redmine:

ou=People,dc=dept,dc=domain,dc=com

Can someone help me determine the correct login_format for Tracks?

Thanks,

justin

I do not have any experience getting tracks running with an ldap server, but
* did you configure ldap correctly in site.yml (for tracks 1.7rc2)
* I think there should be a Tracks user for every user in tracks

there are some tests in Tracks for ldap, perhaps running them will show if Tracks can still handle ldap (I don’t think a lot of people are using it). Be carefull not to use production data when running tests!

Hi Justin,

Did you ever get this to work, I cannot get the LDAP login to work using the simple_ldap_authenticator (Current Tracks stable v1.7).
I actually found it easier to create my own Net:LDAP authentication function.

Any information appreciated.

Cheers,

George.
