Possible to authenticate to REST API when using Open ID?

Is it possible to authenticate to the REST API when you’re using Open ID? I’m guessing not (I get 401 Unauthorized errors). It would be good if you could still specify a username and password when using the REST API.

Let me know if this should be a ticket.

how are you trying to access the REST API? did you check the examples on the integration page?
