I am using a pre-hosted version of Tracks from here http://tracks.tra.in/login mostly because I did not see an easy way to install it on my own host.  I need help on how the tickler operates.  I’m missing something there.  I see the week number but no way to select a week number.  Also, periodically, I need reminders of date/time specific tasks via email or sms.  Is this possible?  Is it possible to set recurrences?

I also noticed that tracks is at 1.7 and I now have a host but no instructions for what to do next.  Are there any plans to upgrade what is here to v1.7?

The tickler is just a view of todos that will become visible in the future. It is not a calendar of sorts that you can browse to see all your todos that are due on some date.

Tracks does not have the functionality to send email or sms to remind your of certain todos.

In tracks 1.7, we have added recurring todos.

AFAIK, tracks.tra.in is hosting a customized tracks 1.6. Most patches of them are integrated and will be part of tracks in 1.8. The service is not provided by the tracks project, so you have to ask them for plans for upgrading

That’s fantastic!  Is anyone hosting a version for the public that is up-to-date ?
