Possible?

I’d like next actions for today or earlier (todos.txt?due=0&token;=) to be formatted like this:

CONTEXT 1
Project 1
      Next action
Project 2
      Next action

CONTEXT 2
Project 1
      Next action
Project 2
      Next action

No dates (it’s a list of items for today or earlier).

Projects listed only once.

Font, type style, and color in the example above is irrelevant (just highlighting in this post, not something I want).

Perhaps AppleScript can help, but I’m not even sure I can spell scripting, much less write a script.

Willing to learn, though.

No, not asking for lessons; just want to know if it’s possible.

If it is, I’ll go forth and learn.

Thanks!

it is possible. Needs a bit of complex querying because tracks does not use such a hierarchy internally…

Thanks for the info.

Sounds like that, if such a hierarchy is important to me, then Tracks may not be the app I should be using.

A simple list like the one I describe helps me a lot.

Even though I like Tracks, I can’t see taking too many out-of-the-way steps to get what I want if it’s not an easy thing to do.
