I’m using tracks on http://tracks.tra.in and I’m trying to figure out how to implement a tickler kind of function.  I don’t want to use the due date for that, because the due date is hopefully the day it _HAS_ to happen, not a reminder sort of date.  The other reason for not using the due date is that I don’t really want to see it until that day. 

Does anyone have any ideas or tips that they’ve used to solved this problem?

My understanding is that start dates have been added to Tracks, but only since the last stable release. (If I remember right, one of the hosted Tracks versions runs this more recent version.)

I’m still running 1.042 locally, so I too am eager for the next release to come out.
