This is more of a tip/trick *request*.

Anyone have a quick way to retrieve and print, say, the “all actions” feed?  I’m using Linux, and would use wget, but run into trouble with the session# part of the URL.

Thanks.

Really? Works OK for me with wget:

wget -O actions.txt http://tracksurl.com/feed/text/username/token_string

This now works, only the file retreived says “Sorry you don’t have permission to access this file.”  Any way to transmit the idea that I’m logged in?

That’s what the token’s supposed to do. The login routine isn’t called for the feeds: it just checks that your token is valid. I get my next actions for the week emailed to me every day like this and it works fine. Are you sure that you’ve got the right token? If you hover over the feeds when you’re logged in, you should see a long string of letters and numbers. Better yet, copy the whole URL and paste it into the a terminal.

Right as always, bsag.  I had a typo in the token.

And now I have my first script for cron.d!

Thanks!
